In our benchmarks, the Core i5-6500 beats the Xeon E3-1220 v5 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon E3-1220 v5 in all gaming tests too.

Our comparison shows that the Core i5-6500 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Xeon E3-1220 v5. Also, the Core i5-6500 has a slightly higher turbo speed.
