Core i5-4670S vs Xeon X5570 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Xeon X5570 beats the Core i5-4670S in overall performance. Despite this, the Core i5-4670S has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Core i5-4670S has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Xeon X5570. Also, the Core i5-4670S has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-4670S CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon X5570 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Core i5-4670S has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
