Core i5-4670K vs Xeon E3-1220 v5 benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the Core i5-4670K beats the Xeon E3-1220 v5 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon E3-1220 v5 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-4670K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Xeon E3-1220 v5. Also, the Core i5-4670K has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Xeon E3-1220 v5 outputs less heat than Core i5-4670K thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
