Core i5-4670K vs Ryzen 5 7520U specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 5 7520U is faster than the Core i5-4670K. Despite this, the Core i5-4670K has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the Ryzen 5 7520U has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-4670K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 5 7520U. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 5 7520U has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i5-4670K. Despite this, the Core i5-4670K has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 5 7520U.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core i5-4670K has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
