Core i5-4670K vs Core i5-1035G1 benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-1035G1 is faster than the Core i5-4670K. Despite this, the Core i5-4670K has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Core i5-1035G1 has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i5-4670K has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-1035G1. Also, the Core i5-4670K has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i5-1035G1 outputs less heat than Core i5-4670K thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, both these CPUs have the same amount of L2 cache and L3 cache.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Core i5-4670K has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
