Core i5-4590T vs Pentium G4560 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Core i5-4590T beats the Pentium G4560 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Pentium G4560 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-4590T has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium G4560 has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Pentium G4560 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-4590T. A Core i5-4590T CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium G4560 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Core i5-4590T has more L2 cache than the Pentium G4560. The Core i5-4590T also has significantly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core i5-4590T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
