Core i5-4570T vs FX-4130 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-4570T is faster than the FX-4130. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-4130 in all gaming tests too.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the FX-4130 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-4570T. A Core i5-4570T CPU outputs less heat than a FX-4130 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the FX-4130 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i5-4570T. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i5-4570T has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
