Core i5-3350P vs Xeon E3-1225 V2 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Xeon E3-1225 V2 is faster than the Core i5-3350P. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-3350P in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Xeon E3-1225 V2 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-3350P. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache. The Xeon E3-1225 V2 also has slightly more L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Core i5-3350P has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
