Core i5-2410M vs Pentium G860 benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-2410M performs better than the Pentium G860. Despite this, the Pentium G860 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Core i5-2410M has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Pentium G860 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-2410M. A Core i5-2410M CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium G860 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Core i5-2410M has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Pentium G860. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking.
