Core i5-2410M vs Celeron E3500 comparison

In our benchmarks, the Core i5-2410M beats the Celeron E3500 in overall performance. Despite this, the Celeron E3500 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the Core i5-2410M has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Celeron E3500 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i5-2410M. A Core i5-2410M CPU outputs less heat than a Celeron E3500 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Celeron E3500 has more L2 cache than the Core i5-2410M

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i5-2410M has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
