Core i5-13600KF vs Core i7-13700F specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-13600KF is faster than the Core i7-13700F. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-13700F in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-13700F has slightly more cores with 16 cores whereas the Core i5-13600KF has 14 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-13600KF. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i5-13600KF has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-13700F. Despite this, the Core i7-13700F has a slightly higher turbo speed. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i7-13700F has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i5-13600KF. The Core i7-13700F also has slightly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i5-13600KF has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
