Core i5-13600K vs Ryzen 5 7600X comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-13600K is faster than the Ryzen 5 7600X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 7600X in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i5-13600K has slightly more cores with 8 cores compared to the Ryzen 5 7600X that has 6 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 7600X has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-13600K. Also, the Ryzen 5 7600X has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 5 7600X outputs less heat than Core i5-13600K thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Ryzen 5 7600X has more L2 cache than the Core i5-13600K. The Ryzen 5 7600X also has slightly more L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i5-13600K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
