Core i5-13600K vs Core i7-13700F specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-13600K is faster than the Core i7-13700F. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-13700F in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-13700F has significantly more cores with 16 cores whereas the Core i5-13600K has 8 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-13600K. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i5-13600K has a much higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-13700F. Despite this, the Core i7-13700F has a slightly higher turbo speed. The info from our database shows that the Core i7-13700F has more L2 cache than the Core i5-13600K. The Core i7-13700F also has slightly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i5-13600K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
