Core i5-1350P vs Ryzen Z1 benchmarks

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen Z1 performs better than the Core i5-1350P. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-1350P in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i5-1350P has significantly more cores with 12 cores compared to the Ryzen Z1 that has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen Z1. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen Z1 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-1350P. Also, the Ryzen Z1 has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, the Core i5-1350P has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen Z1. Despite this, the Ryzen Z1 has slightly more L3 cache compared to the Core i5-1350P.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i5-1350P has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
