Core i5-1350P vs Core i7-1365U benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-1350P performs better than the Core i7-1365U. Despite this, the Core i7-1365U has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-1350P has slightly more cores with 12 cores whereas the Core i7-1365U has 10 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i7-1365U. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-1350P has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i7-1365U. Despite this, the Core i7-1365U has a slightly higher turbo speed. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i5-1350P has slightly more L2 cache than the Core i7-1365U. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i5-1350P has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
