Core i5-13450HX vs Ryzen 7 7435HS comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-13450HX is faster than the Ryzen 7 7435HS. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 7435HS in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-13450HX has slightly more cores with 10 cores whereas the Ryzen 7 7435HS has 8 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 7 7435HS has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-13450HX. In terms of cache, the Core i5-13450HX has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen 7 7435HS. The Core i5-13450HX also has slightly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i5-13450HX has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
