Core i5-12450H vs Core i7-1370P specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-1370P is faster than the Core i5-12450H. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-12450H in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-1370P has significantly more cores with 14 cores whereas the Core i5-12450H has 8 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-12450H. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i5-12450H has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-1370P. Despite this, the Core i7-1370P has a slightly higher turbo speed. The info from our database shows that the Core i7-1370P has more L2 cache than the Core i5-12450H. The Core i7-1370P also has significantly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i5-12450H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
