Core i5-11600K vs Ryzen 7 PRO 3700 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-11600K is faster than the Ryzen 7 PRO 3700. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 PRO 3700 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 7 PRO 3700 has slightly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Core i5-11600K has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-11600K. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-11600K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 7 PRO 3700. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 PRO 3700 has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i5-11600K. The Ryzen 7 PRO 3700 also has significantly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i5-11600K has more threads than cores.
