Core i5-11600 vs Core Ultra 5 135U benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core Ultra 5 135U is faster than the Core i5-11600. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-11600 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core Ultra 5 135U has significantly more cores with 12 cores whereas the Core i5-11600 has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-11600. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-11600 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core Ultra 5 135U. Also, the Core i5-11600 has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, the Core Ultra 5 135U has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i5-11600. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i5-11600 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
