Core i5-11500H vs Xeon E5-2665 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Xeon E5-2665 is faster than the Core i5-11500H. Despite this, the Core i5-11500H has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Xeon E5-2665 has slightly more cores with 8 cores compared to the Core i5-11500H that has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-11500H. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-11500H has a slightly higher clock speed than the Xeon E5-2665. Also, the Core i5-11500H has a significantly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-11500H CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E5-2665 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Core i5-11500H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
