Core i5-11400T vs Xeon X5670 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Core i5-11400T beats the Xeon X5670 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon X5670 in all gaming tests too.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon X5670 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-11400T. Despite this, the Core i5-11400T has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-11400T CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon X5670 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Core i5-11400T has more L2 cache than the Xeon X5670. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Core i5-11400T has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
