Core i5-11400T vs Xeon Silver 4114 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Xeon Silver 4114 beats the Core i5-11400T in overall performance. Despite this, the Core i5-11400T has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Xeon Silver 4114 has significantly more cores with 10 cores whereas the Core i5-11400T has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-11400T. Our comparison shows that the Xeon Silver 4114 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-11400T. Despite this, the Core i5-11400T has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-11400T CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon Silver 4114 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Core i5-11400T has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
