Core i5-11400T vs Xeon E-2276M comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Xeon E-2276M performs better than the Core i5-11400T. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-11400T in all gaming tests too.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Xeon E-2276M has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-11400T. Also, the Xeon E-2276M has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-11400T CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E-2276M CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Core i5-11400T has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Xeon E-2276M. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i5-11400T has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
