Core i5-11400H vs Xeon W-2135 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Xeon W-2135 beats the Core i5-11400H in overall performance. Despite this, the Core i5-11400H has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon W-2135 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i5-11400H. In addition, both chips have the same turbo speed. A Core i5-11400H CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon W-2135 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i5-11400H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
