Core i5-11400H vs Ryzen 5 5560U benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-11400H is faster than the Ryzen 5 5560U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 5560U in all gaming tests too.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-11400H has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 5 5560U. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i5-11400H has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 5 5560U. The Core i5-11400H also has significantly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i5-11400H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
