Core i5-11400H vs Core i7-10875H specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-11400H is faster than the Core i7-10875H. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-10875H in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-10875H has slightly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Core i5-11400H has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-11400H. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-11400H has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i7-10875H. Despite this, the Core i7-10875H has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-11400H CPU outputs less heat than a Core i7-10875H CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i5-11400H has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i7-10875H. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Core i5-11400H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
