Core i5-11400 vs Core i5-1350P benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Core i5-11400 beats the Core i5-1350P in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-1350P in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-1350P has significantly more cores with 12 cores whereas the Core i5-11400 has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-11400. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-11400 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-1350P. Despite this, the Core i5-1350P has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, the Core i5-1350P has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i5-11400. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i5-11400 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
