Core i5-10600KF vs Core i5-11400 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-11400 is faster than the Core i5-10600KF. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-10600KF in all gaming tests too.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i5-10600KF has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-11400. Also, the Core i5-10600KF has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i5-11400 outputs less heat than Core i5-10600KF thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i5-11400 has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i5-10600KF. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i5-10600KF has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
