Core i5-10600K vs Core i5-11600KF specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the Core i5-11600KF beats the Core i5-10600K in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-10600K in all gaming tests too.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-10600K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i5-11600KF. Despite this, the Core i5-11600KF has a slightly higher turbo speed. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i5-11600KF has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i5-10600K. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Core i5-10600K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
