Core i5-10500 vs N200 specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-10500 performs better than the N200. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the N200 in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-10500 has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the N200 has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the N200. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i5-10500 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the N200. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the N200 has slightly more L2 cache than the Core i5-10500. Despite this, the Core i5-10500 has significantly more L3 cache compared to the N200.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i5-10500 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
