Core i5-1035G1 vs Core i5-14500T specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Core i5-14500T beats the Core i5-1035G1 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-1035G1 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i5-14500T has significantly more cores with 14 cores compared to the Core i5-1035G1 that has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-1035G1. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i5-14500T has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-1035G1. Also, the Core i5-14500T has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, the Core i5-14500T has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i5-1035G1. The Core i5-14500T also has significantly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i5-1035G1 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
