Core i5-10300H vs Xeon X5647 comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-10300H is faster than the Xeon X5647. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon X5647 in all gaming tests too.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon X5647 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i5-10300H. Despite this, the Core i5-10300H has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-10300H CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon X5647 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache. The Xeon X5647 also has significantly more L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i5-10300H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
