Core i5-10300H vs Xeon W3680 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-10300H is faster than the Xeon W3680. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon W3680 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Xeon W3680 has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the Core i5-10300H has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i5-10300H. Our comparison shows that the Xeon W3680 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-10300H. Despite this, the Core i5-10300H has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-10300H CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon W3680 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Xeon W3680 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i5-10300H
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Core i5-10300H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
