Core i5-10300H vs Xeon W-2125 comparison

In our benchmarks, the Core i5-10300H beats the Xeon W-2125 in overall performance. Despite this, the Xeon W-2125 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon W-2125 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-10300H. Furthermore, both these CPUs have identical turbo speeds. A Core i5-10300H CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon W-2125 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i5-10300H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
