Core i5-10210U vs Xeon X5570 comparison
In our benchmarks, the Xeon X5570 beats the Core i5-10210U in overall performance. Despite this, the Core i5-10210U has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Core i5-10210U has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon X5570 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-10210U. Despite this, the Core i5-10210U has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-10210U CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon X5570 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache. The Xeon X5570 also has slightly more L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Core i5-10210U has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
