Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Core i5-10210U has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Xeon E3-1220 v5 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-10210U. Despite this, the Core i5-10210U has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-10210U CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E3-1220 v5 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
