Core i3-N305 vs N200 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i3-N305 is faster than the N200. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the N200 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i3-N305 has significantly more cores with 8 cores compared to the N200 that has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the N200. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i3-N305 has a significantly higher clock speed than the N200. In terms of cache, the Core i3-N305 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the N200. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core i3-N305 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
