Core i3-9100 vs Core i5-10300H specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-10300H performs better than the Core i3-9100. Despite this, the Core i3-9100 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Core i5-10300H has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i3-9100 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-10300H. Despite this, the Core i5-10300H has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i5-10300H outputs less heat than Core i3-9100 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches. The Core i5-10300H also has slightly more L3 cache.
