Core i3-8100 vs FX-8320 specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i3-8100 performs better than the FX-8320. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-8320 in all gaming tests too.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the FX-8320 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i3-8100 has a slightly higher clock speed than the FX-8320. A Core i3-8100 CPU outputs less heat than a FX-8320 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the FX-8320 has more L2 cache than the Core i3-8100. The FX-8320 also has slightly more L3 cache.
