Core i3-8100 vs Core i7-1065G7 specs and performance

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Core i7-1065G7 has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i3-8100 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-1065G7. Despite this, the Core i7-1065G7 has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i7-1065G7 outputs less heat than Core i3-8100 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, both these CPUs have the same amount of L2 cache. The Core i7-1065G7 also has slightly more L3 cache.
