Core i3-6100T vs Core i5-6500TE benchmarks

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i5-6500TE has significantly more cores than the Core i3-6100T. Indeed, the Core i5-6500TE has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Core i3-6100T. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i3-6100T has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-6500TE. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
