Core i3-5005U vs N100 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the N100 is faster than the Core i3-5005U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i3-5005U in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the N100 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Core i3-5005U has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i3-5005U has a significantly higher clock speed than the N100. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the N100 has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i3-5005U. The N100 also has significantly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i3-5005U has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
