Core i3-1115G4 vs A8-7600 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i3-1115G4 is faster than the A8-7600. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A8-7600 in all gaming tests too.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A8-7600 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i3-1115G4. Despite this, the Core i3-1115G4 has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i3-1115G4 CPU outputs less heat than a A8-7600 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the A8-7600 has more L2 cache than the Core i3-1115G4

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i3-1115G4 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
