Core i3-10110U vs Pentium G4520 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Core i3-10110U beats the Pentium G4520 in overall performance. Despite this, the Pentium G4520 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Core i3-10110U has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Pentium G4520 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i3-10110U. A Core i3-10110U CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium G4520 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches and L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i3-10110U has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
