Core i3-10110U vs Athlon 3000G specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Athlon 3000G performs better than the Core i3-10110U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i3-10110U in all gaming tests too.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Athlon 3000G has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i3-10110U. A Core i3-10110U CPU outputs less heat than a Athlon 3000G CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Athlon 3000G has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i3-10110U. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i3-10110U has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
