Core i3-10105 vs Xeon X5680 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Xeon X5680 beats the Core i3-10105 in overall performance. Despite this, the Core i3-10105 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Xeon X5680 has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the Core i3-10105 has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i3-10105. Our comparison shows that the Core i3-10105 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Xeon X5680. Also, the Core i3-10105 has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i3-10105 CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon X5680 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Core i3-10105 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
