Core i3-10100F vs Xeon E-2176M benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Xeon E-2176M beats the Core i3-10100F in overall performance. Despite this, the Core i3-10100F has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Xeon E-2176M has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the Core i3-10100F has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i3-10100F. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i3-10100F has a slightly higher clock speed than the Xeon E-2176M. Despite this, the Xeon E-2176M has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Xeon E-2176M outputs less heat than Core i3-10100F thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i3-10100F has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
