Core i3-1005G1 vs N95 benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i3-1005G1 is faster than the N95. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the N95 in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the N95 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Core i3-1005G1 has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the N95 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i3-1005G1. In terms of cache, the N95 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i3-1005G1. The N95 also has significantly more L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i3-1005G1 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
