In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i5-12600HX has slightly more cores than the Core 7 240H. Indeed, the Core i5-12600HX has 12 cores compared to 10 cores found in the Core 7 240H. But they both have the same number of threads. In terms of clock speed, the Core 7 240H and Core i5-12600HX are identical in this regard. Despite this, the Core 7 240H has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, the Core 7 240H has slightly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i5-12600HX. The Core 7 240H also has slightly more L3 cache.
