Core 2 Duo E8200 vs PRO A10-8730B benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the PRO A10-8730B beats the Core 2 Duo E8200 in overall performance. Despite this, the Core 2 Duo E8200 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the PRO A10-8730B has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Core 2 Duo E8200 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Core 2 Duo E8200. With our hardware info, we find that the Core 2 Duo E8200 has a slightly higher clock speed than the PRO A10-8730B. In terms of cache, the Core 2 Duo E8200 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the PRO A10-8730B
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core 2 Duo E8200 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
